The Swamp Thing #2 p.19 - A-Bomb Banyan Tree!

This magnificent work of art was the second version of the page Perkins illustrated. Was it because, as often happens, the editor asked for changes? Nope! Believe it or not, this time it was "self-inflicted". Perkins simply wasn't satisfied with how he depicted the scene the first time around, so he voluntarily decided to take an entire day out of his already busy schedule and redrew it to better depict the explosive turn of events for the poor Pale Wanderer!
