Holy Crap! He's baaaaaaaaack! A KILLER Double Page Splash !
YES! YES! YES! I've been desperately hoping, when Swamp Thing turned him into a Banyan tree back in issue #2, that The Pale Wanderer wasn't dead!
Now, with Woodrue echoing some of the things that the Wanderer was attempting to teach Levi, such as "Ideas cannot die.", and also mentioning avatars, I've got a feeling that something big is about to happen with this character!
Ram and Mike have produced a Swamp Thing run which is rightfully being hailed as one of the best ever, I myself having put it right up there with my favourite parts of Moore's run, which I find to be the best ever. I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited about a monthly comic book since I was a teen back in the 80's. The way Ram V has methodically given us entire new layers to the Swamp Thing mythology, in bits and pieces, building up the suspense, is truthfully something I haven't experienced since I was reading the Moore run every month back in the mid 80's. Critics and readers both have been almost universally positive about this run as well, so I hope you readers recommend this title to any and all of your current or even former comic reading friends!
