Poison Ivy/Swamp Thing: Feral Trees #1 p.38

The poignant scene continues, as Paul draws her last breath and a distraught and angry Ivy lashes out, sad that she knew Paula was an elemental like her and Swamp Thing, but never found out how or why. These story moments are the ones Perkins truly excels at, as his realistic illustration helps bring forth the seriousness of the equally poignant moment. So much emotion is drawn into these characters, especially Ivy, and it's all wrapped up within a beautifully balanced composition.
