Swamp Thing tears open a tree, hoping it might reveal its secrets. In doing so, it does indeed reveal the body of the man who went missing earlier that evening! But just as Ivy reaches out to him, the tree attacks! A great page layout, showing each of our two protagonists book ending the page in their own first and last panels, and even mirroring their poses. The sense of three dimensional depth is again at play here, with the fine use of wash to illustrate the trees in the distance!
