Many years ago when many of Enric's early 70's era Crime Fiction paperback covers came to market, I acquired all the best examples. This is one of those. This is the uncensored cover for the title Rubia Platina: Stop, by Antonio Viader Vives (using the pseudonym Alexis Barclay), from a series of books called "BANG", and this is the 6th book in the series.
This is a gorgeous Enric nude, displaying great 70's fashion. In fact, it is the model's pants which make this such a great piece in my eyes. The reason I call it it the uncensored cover, is because prior to publication, the editors decided they wanted to censor out the nudity, so someone in the production department, or maybe the art director, haphazardly covered up the unwanted areas with black paint, so as to make it appear this Enric goddess was wearing a shirt. Take a look at the additional image of the paperback above to compare it with the painting.
Since my own home's wall decor is made up of paintings from the 50's and 60's, these from the 70's don't fit well together, as the art styles changed greatly as the 60's faded and the 70's rolled in. So I keep my 70's paintings together but stored away within reach where I can still easily pull them out and admire them.
NOTE: The novel is shown for informational purposes only and is not included with the purchase of the painting.
