The original art on this page is wonderfully moody. Perkins leans hard into the blacks, and it gives the whole sequence a cold, Gothic weight. The snowy exterior shot at the top is especially striking in ink. The heavy shadows on the building make it feel genuinely foreboding. Inside, the library scene has that great cluttered, old‑world atmosphere Perkins does so well, with the deep shadows around the shelves and furniture pulling your eye straight to the characters. The close‑up on Scarecrow’s face is fantastic, with all those lovely, fine lines bringing out the grotesque tension in his expression! It’s a page that feels cold, dark, intense and the atmosphere really comes through!
Attention Collectors: This art will ship to you directly from the artist in the UK, but please be patient as his priority is still to meet his professional deadlines.
